Cancer-Pain, sufferings, & A Daring fight …

CANCER 6 letter word, a word often heard only in movies/dramas as the ultimate of all diseases. But, Life is reality not drama. The real pain & sufferings of cancer patients and their relatives is far beyond our imagination. Cancer is not a curse but like a nightmare which is difficult to forget and get rid of. Intensity of pain, sufferings and outcomes of cancer & its treatment speak its own story. Cancer Patients require treatment which is combination of Medicines and Emotional support. Nothing is free in this universe, everything has price tag. So is the medical treatment which is too costly, have no certainty of outcomes and above all at the cost of normal health of patient it tries to cure the disease. Sometimes, I wonder, How a poor or lower middle class family can afford to do such treatment in India at such risky outcomes and side-effects ? God only can help them.

But, LIFE means a Hope, when we get birth, there is a hope to live in this beautiful world and spread happiness and so should be with disease like cancer, there should be hope & a spirit to fight to come out from such sufferings and pain. In context of growing numbers of various cancer patients across India, what is required is awareness among masses about the symptoms, prevention, possibility of cure, early treatment so that lives at large can be saved timely.
